Stephen Sell stepping down from Ontario Electrical League

May 30, 2023 – The Ontario Electrical League’s president, Stephen Sell, is resigning from the association effective May 31, 2023.

“I want to personally thank Stephen for his leadership and direction over the last 12 years, and wish him all the best on behalf of our organization in his future endeavours,” said Louie Violo, OEL board chair.

Sell has served as OEL president for the past 12 years. In addition, he served as president of the Ontario Mechanical League (launched in 2018) and executive director of Support Ontario Youth.

“I want to personally thank Stephen for his leadership and vision for SOY over the last seven years, and wish him all the best on behalf of our organization in his future endeavours,” said Mo Awan, SOY chair.

The Ontario Electrical League is a non-profit organization whose members include electrical contractors, electricians, apprentices, utilities, generators, inspectors, distributors, manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, consulting engineers, educators, and service companies.
